Ceratec Burlingstone Taupe Matte Porcelain Tile 13" x 13"

Natural stone needs sealing and every batch looks different. Burlingstone Taupe gives you a stone look in porcelain that stays consistent.

In simple terms: Burlingstone Taupe is a 13x13 stone look porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Taupe from the Ceratec Burlingstone range.

The actual size is 13" x 13" (330 x 330 mm). It is 8 mm thick. The spec sheet lists PEI IV surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading of 0.51, an R9 slip rating and water absorption below 0.5%. It is rated for light commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in Turkey. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements, shower and bathroom walls and covered porches and patios. Pick it over real stone when you want the look with no sealing.

Each box holds 13 pieces and covers 15.26 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside. It is rated for light commercial traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Burlingstone also comes in Light Grey and White. Taupe also comes in 8" x 10". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 3/8" trim profile.
