Ceratec Brook Pebble Nero Marquina Matte Glass Mosaic 1" x 1"

Matte glass gives a backsplash or a niche the depth of glass without the shine, and it wipes clean.

In simple terms: Brook Pebble Nero Marquina is a 1x1 marble look glass mosaic for floors and walls, indoors.

It is the matte finish in Pebble Nero Marquina from the Ceratec Brook range.

Each sheet measures 11.3" x 11.3", with 1" x 1" pieces. It is 6 mm thick. The spec sheet lists a wet DCOF slip reading above 0.42 and water absorption of 0%. It is rated for light commercial traffic. Shade variation is V1, uniform. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in China. Matte glass has a soft, even face and wipes clean. This one is listed for floors as well as walls, so it can take light foot traffic.

It suits shower floors, bathroom floors, backsplashes and accent strips in a shower. Pick it over a larger tile wherever the floor has to slope or the wall needs a detail.

Each sheet covers 0.89 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 46 sheets, or 50 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, and a box holds 12 sheets. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 125 sheets with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for indoor use only, so keep it off porches, patios and exterior walls. It is rated for light commercial traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Brook also comes in Pebble Calacatta. For edges, Ceratec recommends a 5/16" trim profile.
