Ceratec Aspen La Fenice Greige Matte Porcelain Plank Tile 8" x 48"

Hardwood does not belong in a wet bathroom or a damp basement. Aspen La Fenice Greige gives you the wood look in porcelain that can go there.

In simple terms: Aspen La Fenice Greige is an 8x48 wood look porcelain plank tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Greige from the Ceratec Aspen La Fenice range.

The actual size is 7.8" x 47.2" (197 x 1200 mm). It is 9 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The spec sheet lists PEI IV surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading of 0.55, an R9 slip rating and water absorption of 0.2%. It is rated for commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V3, moderate. It is made in Italy. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits basements, kitchens and bathrooms where hardwood would not stand up to water, open-plan floors, living areas, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over hardwood or laminate anywhere the floor can get wet.

Each box holds 6 pieces and covers 15.34 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Aspen La Fenice also comes in Ash, Dark, Oak, Sand and White. Greige also comes in 24" x 24". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/2" trim profile.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Ceratec Aspen La Fenice Greige in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
