York Smoke belongs to Centura's York range and measures 12" x 12". It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. Frost resistance means it can be laid outdoors or in an unheated space without spalling through a freeze-thaw cycle. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. The edges are cushioned rather than rectified, so allow a slightly wider grout joint. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 929 - Charcoal Gray. One box contains 10 pieces, enough for 9.59 sq ft, or 0.9588 sq ft a piece.
