Centura Plain / Techno Slate Grey Matte Mosaic 12" x 12" MBU2214

Plain / Techno Slate Grey is a 12" x 12" mosaic from Centura's Plain / Techno range. It carries the broken, tonal surface of natural stone, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V1, so pieces run near-identical and the finished floor reads as one continuous surface. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 6 mm. The suggested grout is 927 Light Pewter. Boxes hold 20 pieces and cover 20 sq ft, or 1 sq ft a piece.
