Centura Norr Svart Natural Porcelain 24" x 24"

Norr Svart is a 24" x 24" porcelain tile from Centura's Norr range. It is finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24" x 24", it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 941 Raven. One box contains 3 pieces, enough for 11.57 sq ft, or 3.8551 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
