Centura lists Lythos Black in the Lythos range: a 24" x 48" porcelain tile. It is finished with a smoothed matte face. Centura rates shade variation at V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. A 24" x 48" tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm over a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 941 - Raven. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 16.01 sq ft, or 8.0064 sq ft a piece.
