Centura I Cocci Siciliani Sabbia Natural Porcelain 24" x 48"

Centura lists I Cocci Siciliani Sabbia in the I Cocci Siciliani range: a 24" x 48" porcelain tile. Centura gives it a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Centura rates shade variation at V4, a wide spread where individual pieces differ markedly, so the tile should be dry-laid from several boxes before it is set. At 24" x 48", it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 903 Birch. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 15.3 sq ft, or 7.6511 sq ft a piece.
