Centura Glocal Type Natural Porcelain 24" x 24"

Centura lists Glocal Type in the Glocal range: a 24" x 24" porcelain tile. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. A 24" x 24" tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Underfoot it is rated R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 927 - Light Pewter. One box contains 3 pieces, enough for 11.51 sq ft, or 3.8358 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
