Centura Glocal Ideal Natural Porcelain 24" x 48" GC032448N

Glocal Ideal is a 24" x 48" porcelain tile from Centura's Glocal range. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. A 24" x 48" tile lays up quickly and leaves less grout to keep clean. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 939 - Mist. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 15.44 sq ft, or 7.722 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
