Mapei ECO 811 Carpet Tile Adhesive 18.9 L

This is ECO 811 Carpet Tile Adhesive, a universal carpet tile adhesive. It is for carpet tile of every backing, PVC, non-PVC, polyolefin, felt and bituminous, and for fibreglass-reinforced vinyl sheet. An 18.9 L pail is roughly 924 to 1223 sq ft with a 1/32" x 1/16" x 1/32" U-notch, smooth-backed tile. Releasable over a porous floor: flash 30 minutes or until dry, then 8 hours of working time. Permanent: no flash, 15 minutes of working time. It does both. Dry until there is no transfer and the tile lifts again later; lay into wet adhesive and it is permanent, but only over a dry porous substrate. Rated to 10 lb MVER, 99% slab RH and pH 11 for the releasable method. Install it wet for a permanent bond and those drop to 5 lb and 80%, which is the trap in this product. Light traffic at 12 hours and heavy at 24. Approved substrates are concrete cured 28 days, exterior-grade plywood, cement terrazzo, levelling compounds, one bonded layer of VCT, and primed gypsum underlayment. Not over asbestos and not where there is hydrostatic moisture. Interior only. On the shelf in Mississauga and Barrie if you are picking up tile anyway.
