Anderson Tuftex Aspen Creek Broadloom Carpet

Anderson Tuftex Aspen Creek is a loop pile broadloom carpet, nylon, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms.

Soft underfoot, warm in winter, and quiet in a busy house, broadloom carpet earns its place in bedrooms and lower levels, as long as you match the construction to the traffic.

In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Aspen Creek is traditional wall-to-wall carpet, installed over an underpad for comfort and sound control. It is a soft, warm choice for bedrooms, stairs, and living spaces, and we install it in-house.

It belongs in the soft rooms of a home: bedrooms, family and media rooms, hallways, stairs, and finished basements, where comfort, warmth, and quiet outweigh the need for a wipeable surface. The only rooms to skip are the wet ones, baths and laundries.

The detail behind that: It is a loop carpet, where the yarns stay looped rather than cut. Loops wear hard and hide dirt well, which is why this style holds up in hallways, stairs, and busy rooms. One honest caution: pet claws can catch a loop, so it is less ideal in homes with cats or dogs that scratch. The yarn is nylon, the workhorse of carpet fiber. It resists crushing, bounces back after furniture and feet, and cleans up well, so it keeps its look in the rooms that get used hardest. The Softbac backing is lighter and more flexible than a conventional hard backing, which helps it lie flat, stretch cleanly, and stay wrinkle-free underfoot. Its 40 oz per square yard face weight is solid residential density, a good balance of feel and value. At 12 feet on the roll, a standard bedroom or living room seams just once or twice, kept out of the main walking paths. It is USA-made. Colours in the range include Modern Ivory, Winter Oak, Wild Oats, Rainy Season, Cedar Grove, and Pike Lake.

Broadloom is stretched in over a separate underpad, not glued, and the install is where it is won or lost. Our in-house team sets the tack strips, lays the carpet underpad, power-stretches the carpet so it stays taut, and heat-seams the seams flat. We handle stairs and transitions too. See our projects for examples.

Decision line: Aspen Creek is the durable, soil-hiding pick for stairs, hallways, and busy rooms; if you have pets that claw, ask us about a cut-pile alternative.

We keep Aspen Creek at both showrooms, where you can feel the pile and judge the colour properly. Contact us for stock, see how it works on stairs, or for offices and retail ask about our commercial flooring work. You can more on our Anderson Tuftex page.
