Velutto Ash is a 2" x 6" honed marble mosaic from Anatolia Tile. The surface carries the tonal, broken face of quarried stone and a honed face, flattened so it reads matte without shine. The picket format sets it apart from a straight grid layout. Residentially it works in kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. Boxes hold 5 pieces and cover 4.41 sq ft. Marble is a calcite stone, so it wants a penetrating sealer and takes marks from acids such as lemon or wine. Made in Turkey.
