Anatolia Tile Mayfair Strada Ash is a polished porcelain mosaic. The face gives you a polished face with a full reflective shine. Anatolia grades variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that stops the installation looking printed. The piazza format sets it apart from a straight grid layout. On the residential side that covers kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. Commercially it is specified for retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. Anatolia tests it at a DCOF of 0.42, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance and Mohs hardness 5. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is glazed porcelain.
