La Marca Onyx Nuvolato is a 2" x 2" honed porcelain mosaic from Anatolia Tile. The face gives you a honed face, flattened so it reads matte without shine. Shade variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that stops the installation looking printed. In a home it suits kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. On commercial jobs it turns up in retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. Anatolia tests it at a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance and Mohs hardness 5. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is glazed porcelain. It ships 10 pieces to a box, covering 9.58 sq ft.
