La Marca Onyx Nuvolato is a 4" x 12" polished porcelain tile in the La Marca range. The surface carries a polished face with a full reflective shine. Anatolia grades variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that stops the installation looking printed. In a home it suits kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. On commercial jobs it turns up in retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. Anatolia tests it at a DCOF of 0.42, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance and Mohs hardness 5. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body measures 8.4 mm. It ships 30 pieces to a box, covering 9.47 sq ft.
