Form Sand is a 7" matte porcelain tile in the Form range. The surface carries a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Expect variation of V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that stops the installation looking printed. A hexagon format gives the wall or floor a pattern of its own. In a home it suits kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. Commercially it is specified for retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. Anatolia tests it at a DCOF of 0.55, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance, a slip rating of R9 and Mohs hardness 6. The body measures 9 mm. The body is glazed porcelain. Boxes hold 10 pieces and cover 2.80 sq ft. Made in Turkey.
