Beaulieu Tidal Vinyl Plank Flooring
If a room sees water, pets, or heavy traffic, vinyl tends to be the practical answer, as long as you read past the photo to the build.
In simple terms: Beaulieu Tidal is luxury vinyl plank, a wood-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. It is SPC, Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.
Decision line: reach for Tidal where stability and waterproofing lead the list: basements, kitchens, condos, and over concrete.
The detail behind that: The core here is SPC, a stone-and-polymer composite that is denser and more rigid than standard vinyl. That rigidity is what lets it sit flat over an imperfect subfloor and hold its shape year-round, and it installs as a floating click floor. It has a 12 mil wear layer, enough for normal household traffic in bedrooms, living rooms, and quieter spaces. Because it is 100% waterproof rather than just water-resistant, you can put it in the rooms that rule out wood and laminate, full baths, laundry rooms, kitchens, and basements. With an IIC rating around 71 and an STC around 72 and an attached acoustic pad, it meets the sound ratings most Toronto and Mississauga condo boards require, which is often the deciding factor in a high-rise. Planks run up to 5 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. An embossed surface adds real texture underfoot rather than a flat printed face. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. It is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and phthalate-free. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 5-year commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Evandale, Fundy, Wesport, Trinity, and Grand Bay.
We install Beaulieu Tidal with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. It floats over most existing hard floors once the base is flat and dry. Read how we work on the vinyl installation page, or see our projects.
A sample chip never shows how Tidal looks across a whole room. See it at our Mississauga or Barrie showroom, contact us about availability, and compare materials on the vinyl vs laminate guide.
