Statuario Maximus #5031 Polished Jumbo, 130" x 65", is slab format. Handled properly it reads as stone rather than as tiling, but it is not a weekend job. Polished gives you the reflective surface, and the trade is grip: wet polished tile is slippery, so keep it off a wet floor and enjoy it on a wall or a dry room. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. Both the Mississauga and Barrie stores keep it out, so you can put it beside your cabinet door or a paint chip before you commit.
