Midgley West Ermetica Lavagna Mosaic Tile 2"x2" - Natural

The Ermetica Lavagna in 2" x 2" comes on a mesh sheet, which is the only sensible way to tile a shower pan or wrap a curved wall. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. Because it is porcelain the body is dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 2 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Each box covers 11.63 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 10 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie. Tile rarely looks the same in a store as it does on a phone screen.
