Centura I Cocci Siciliani Porcelain Tiles

Centura lists I Cocci Siciliani Bianco in the I Cocci Siciliani range: a 24" x 48" porcelain tile. The surface is a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V4, a wide spread where individual pieces differ markedly, so the tile should be dry-laid from several boxes before it is set. The 24" x 48" format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 903 Birch. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 15.3 sq ft, or 7.6511 sq ft a piece.
