Centura Cortina Porcelain Tiles

Cortina Almond belongs to Centura's Cortina range and measures 6" x 36". The surface is a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Expect variation of V4, a wide spread where individual pieces differ markedly, so the tile should be dry-laid from several boxes before it is set. At 6" x 36", it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. Because it is frost resistant, it can carry an interior floor out onto a covered patio or three-season room. Centura rates it for floors and walls, so one tile can carry a shower wall down onto the floor with no change of material. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 9 mm. The suggested grout is 909 - Sterling. It ships 10 pieces to a box, covering 14.33 sq ft, or 1.4331 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
