Ceratec Opera Bianco Matte Ceramic Tile 12" x 24"

Natural stone needs sealing and every batch looks different. Opera Bianco gives you a stone look in ceramic that stays consistent.

In simple terms: Opera Bianco is a 12x24 stone look ceramic tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Bianco from the Ceratec Opera range.

The actual size is 11.8" x 23.6" (298 x 600 mm). It is 9.2 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The spec sheet lists PEI IV surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading of 0.65, an R10 slip rating and water absorption between 0.5% and 3%. It is rated for commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in China. Ceramic has a lighter body than porcelain and is easy to cut. This one is listed for floors as well as walls.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over real stone when you want the look with no sealing.

Each box holds 8 pieces and covers 15.47 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Opera also comes in Beige, Greige and Grigio. Bianco also comes in 24" x 24". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/2" trim profile.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Ceratec Opera Bianco in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
