Ceratec Capri White Matte Porcelain Tile 13" x 13"

A plain, solid-colour tile is the safe base for a room, since it works with any cabinet, vanity or wall colour. Capri White is that kind of tile.

In simple terms: Capri White is a 13x13 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in White from the Ceratec Capri range.

The actual size is 13" x 13" (330 x 330 mm). It is 7.2 mm thick. The spec sheet lists PEI IV surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading of 0.51, an R9 slip rating and water absorption below 0.5%. It is rated for commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in Turkey. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it when you want the floor or wall to sit quietly behind the cabinets and fixtures.

Each box holds 13 pieces and covers 15.26 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 10 boxes, or 11 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 8 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

White also comes in 8" x 10". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 5/16" trim profile.
