Miyako Volcanic is a 2" x 6" porcelain tile from Centura's Miyako range. Centura gives it a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. It ships 66 pieces to a box, covering 5.27 sq ft, or 0.0798 sq ft a piece. Porcelain is fired denser than ordinary ceramic, which is why it takes on wet areas and heavy traffic that a wall tile would not.
