The detail behind that: The core here is rigid-core, a stone-and-polymer composite that is denser and more rigid than standard vinyl. That rigidity is what lets it sit flat over an imperfect subfloor and hold its shape year-round, and it installs as a floating click floor. The 20 mil wear layer puts it in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory, which is where vinyl earns its keep in a family home. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. It is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. Colours in the range include U10, U12, U3, U4, and U6.
