La Marca Arabescato is a 2" x 2" honed porcelain mosaic in the La Marca range. Visually it offers a honed face, flattened so it reads matte without shine. Anatolia grades variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that stops the installation looking printed. Residentially it works in kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. It also carries commercial use in retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. Anatolia tests it at a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance and Mohs hardness 5. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is glazed porcelain. One box contains 10 pieces, enough for 9.58 sq ft.
