Centura Tile

Centura Yukatan Porcelain Tile

Centura Yukatan Porcelain Tile
Centura Tile Yukatan is porcelain tile. The line is a consistent 10 mm thick, which keeps the surface flat from piece to piece. Porcelain takes water and traffic better than most tile, so the same piece works in an entry and in a bathroom. Rated for both floors and walls, so one material can carry a room.

Why Yukatan Stands Out

Centura lists Yukatan Blanco in the Yukatan range: a 24" x 48" porcelain tile. It carries an organic, unrepeated face and the layered, cleft face of slate, finished with a gloss surface that reflects light and lifts a darker room. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 24" x 48" format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 10 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 939 - Mist. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 14.88 sq ft, or 7.4405 sq ft a piece.
