Centura Yukatan Porcelain Tiles

Centura lists Yukatan Blanco in the Yukatan range: a 24" x 48" porcelain tile. It carries an organic, unrepeated face and the layered, cleft face of slate, finished with a gloss surface that reflects light and lifts a darker room. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 24" x 48" format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 10 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 939 - Mist. One box contains 2 pieces, enough for 14.88 sq ft, or 7.4405 sq ft a piece.
