Centura Scultorea Porcelain Tiles

Centura lists Scultorea Calacatta Oro Fino in the Scultorea range: a 3" x 18" porcelain tile. It carries the veining and depth of quarried marble, finished with a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Shade variation is rated V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The chevron format breaks up the grid a square or rectangular tile would give you. The slip rating is R9, the rating for dry interior floors. It is frost resistant, so it holds up in unheated garages, porches and exterior work where the tile will freeze and thaw. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Edges are cushioned, not rectified, which means a wider joint and more tolerance for an uneven substrate. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 909 - Sterling. One box contains 26 pieces, enough for 26 sq ft, or 1 sq ft a piece.
