Rapolano Bone belongs to Centura's Rapolano range and measures 12" x 24". Centura gives it a matte surface that holds light rather than throwing it back. Centura rates shade variation at V3, a moderate spread of tone that gives the installation obvious movement piece to piece. The 12" x 24" format means fewer joints across a floor, so the eye is not pulled to a grid. Centura tests it at R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. It is approved for floor and wall installation, so wall and floor areas of the same room can be tiled from one order. Rectified edges mean the tile is cut square after firing and will take a tight 2 to 3 mm joint, provided the substrate is flat. The body measures 9 mm. Centura matches it to grout 909 - Sterling. One box contains 8 pieces, enough for 15.14 sq ft, or 1.8921 sq ft a piece.
