Midgley West Small Navy 2.5"x8" - Bright

Small Navy at 2 1/2" x 8" is the classic backsplash proportion, and it is forgiving. Run it straight, stack it, or offset it by a third and the room reads differently each time. It is ceramic rather than porcelain, which means easier cutting and a bit less hard wearing underfoot. A box holds 5.38 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 21 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie. Tile rarely looks the same in a store as it does on a phone screen.
