About this product
The Small Emerald in 4" x 4" is small enough to follow a slope, which is why sheets like this keep turning up on shower floors and in wet rooms. Ceramic is softer than porcelain and takes less traffic, so it is at its best on a wall or in a room that is not a thoroughfare. A box holds 5.38 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 21 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Have a look at it in Mississauga or Barrie before you order, ideally next to whatever it is going beside.
