Iron Stair Spindles and Balusters

Swapping wood spindles for iron is the fastest way to modernize a staircase, but the parts have to fit the existing rail and stringer or the install stalls halfway through.

In simple terms: this is a full iron baluster system. It includes plain, single and double twist, and single and double basket and knuckle balusters, along with the flat, flexible and angled shoes and the handrail bracket needed to mount them.

Twist and plain balusters give a clean, even look, while basket and knuckle designs add detail as a repeating accent. Shoes cover the drill holes and lock the baluster in place, and the angled top shoe is the one for a raking stringer.
