Mapei Flexcolor 3D, Translucent c 1.89 L #202 Frosted Glass

This is Flexcolor 3D, Translucent in Frosted Glass, a ready-to-use translucent grout with recycled glass beads. It fills joints from 1/16" to 1/2" and gives an iridescent finish that shifts with the light. No mixing and no water. A 1.89 L pail does about 105 sq ft over 12" x 12" tile with a 1/8" joint. Work 5 to 10 sq ft at a time and finish the first wash within five minutes of starting. It is less forgiving than a standard grout. Light foot traffic at 24 hours. Three days before water, which is what sets the stain resistance. No sealer required. Not submerged, so no pools or hot tubs. Steam rooms and saunas are not recommended. Not on pebble or irregular tile, not in joints over 1/2", and not over concrete reading above 5 lb MVER or 80% RH. The translucency is the point: it is made to sit in glass and iridescent mosaic rather than to disappear. Test it on glass mosaic and marble first. In stock in Mississauga and Barrie.
