Squarefoot Flooring Return Policy
Effective Date: January 23rd, 2025
1. Acceptance of Return Policy
By purchasing products from Squarefoot Flooring, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Return Policy. Please read the following guidelines carefully to understand the eligibility, processes, and requirements for returns, exchanges, and refunds.
2. Return & Exchange Eligibility
Return Window: Returns must be initiated within 21 days of your requested pickup or delivery date, accompanied by proof of purchase.
Minimum Return Quantity and Condition: A minimum of 3 unopened boxes is required for eligibility for a return. All items must be returned in their original, unused, unopened packaging with no visible damage, alterations, or signs of wear.
Non-returnable Items: The following items are not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstances:
- Sale or final sale items, including as-is and discontinued stock.
- Special-order products, stair parts, railings, posts, trims, mouldings, mortar, grout, glue, underlayments, and any opened or damaged goods.
- Items that have been installed or partially used.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To begin the return process, please contact our Customer Support team at 905-277-2227 or via email at info@squarefootflooring.com. You must provide your invoice number and include details regarding the items you wish to return. Upon receiving your request, we will provide further instructions for the return process.
Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for returning the items to our showroom, as well as for any applicable shipping charges to return goods to our suppliers.
4. Restocking Fees
A 35% restocking fee will apply to all returns, including those of unopened boxes in resellable condition. This fee covers handling, inspection, and restocking costs.
5. Refund Process
Processing Time: Returns are subject to supplier approval, and we ask that you allow up to 2 weeks for refunds to be processed once the return has been inspected and accepted.
Refund Method: Refunds will be issued via INTERAC E-TRANSFER to the email address provided by the customer.
Inspection: All returned items will be inspected before a refund is processed. If the items do not meet the required criteria, the return may be denied, and no refund will be issued.
6. Defective or Damaged Products
If your order arrives defective or damaged, please contact our team on the same day you receive the products. Include photos of the damage and a description of the affected quantities. Once verified, we will provide you with instructions for returning the damaged items.
7. Terms of Sale and Order Cancellations
Final Sale: All orders are considered final once payment is processed.
Cancellation Fee: A 25% cancellation fee will apply to the total invoice amount for any cancelled orders.
Installed Products: Once materials have been installed, they are considered accepted by the customer, and returns will no longer be accepted.
