Centura Glocal

Glocal Ideal is a 12" x 12" porcelain tile from Centura's Glocal range. It carries the flat, faintly mottled face of poured concrete, finished with a natural finish, left close to how the tile leaves the press. Piece-to-piece variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. The slip rating is R10, which covers floors that see occasional water such as kitchens, bathrooms and entry halls. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. Floor and wall use are both covered, useful where a feature wall and the floor beneath it need to match exactly. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 8.5 mm. The suggested grout is 939 - Mist. It ships 6 pieces to a box, covering 5.75 sq ft, or 0.9588 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
