Dozza Stone Porcelain Tile Collection

Dozza Stone Porcelain Tile Collection
Dozza Stone is a porcelain tile range from 1867 Floors made in Spain. Stone-look porcelain carries the movement of split stone while staying flat enough to lay tight. Porcelain is fired hotter and denser than ceramic, which is why it takes water, frost and traffic that a wall tile cannot, and an absorption rate at or below 0.5 percent is the threshold that defines it. A matte face holds light rather than throwing it back, which hides dust and water spotting between cleans. The range is made in 24" x 24" and 40" x 40". A large format like this means fewer grout lines, which makes a floor read as one continuous surface. Rectified edges are cut square after firing, which lets a tiler close the joint to around an eighth of an inch. It suits entryways, kitchens, bathrooms and open-plan living areas. Frost resistance means the same tile can carry through to a covered porch or a three-season room.
