Mapei Ultrabond ECO 420 Professional Outdoor Carpet Adhesive 15 L

This is Ultrabond ECO 420 Professional Outdoor Carpet Adhesive, a moisture-resistant indoor and outdoor carpet adhesive. It is for indoor and outdoor carpet, smooth or rough-backed, including rubber, polypropylene and closed-cell urethane foam backings. A 15 L pail is roughly 337 to 376 sq ft with a 1/8" U-notch, smooth-backed carpet. Flash 0 minutes over porous and 20 over non-porous. Working time 20 to 30 minutes over porous, 10 to 20 over non-porous. The carpet goes into wet adhesive over a porous substrate. Mapei give no MVER figure on this sheet. Ambient humidity 20 to 80%. Light traffic at 24 hours and heavy at 72. It is approved over exterior and marine-grade plywood, pressure-treated lumber, cured asphalt paving, exterior patching products, and concrete cured 28 days. Not on asphalt roofing. Not for solid vinyl or vinyl-backed carpet. Not over asbestos or any adhesive residue including cutback. This is the one in the range rated for outdoor use. Note the 2010 sheet prohibited pressure-treated lumber and the current 2023 sheet approves it, so an older copy will tell you the opposite. In stock in Mississauga and Barrie.
