Sierra Work Vinyl Plank Flooring
Waterproof, hard-wearing, and warmer underfoot than tile: that combination is why vinyl ends up in so many Toronto kitchens and finished basements.
In simple terms: Sierra Work is a wood-look vinyl plank that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.
This is a glue-down luxury vinyl plank, a flexible plank bonded straight to the subfloor. Glued down, it lies dead flat with no hollow sound, handles large open spans and commercial traffic, and lets you swap a single damaged plank without lifting the floor. It does need a smooth, flat, dry subfloor to look its best. It has a 12 mil wear layer, enough for normal household traffic in bedrooms, living rooms, and quieter spaces. Water is a non-issue: it is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, which is what makes it the go-to for bathrooms, kitchens, and below-grade rooms. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. It is backed by a 15-year residential and 10-year light commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Lynx, Muscade, Pearl, and Sand.
Decision line: Sierra Work is the pick when you want a flat, glued-down floor for a big or busy space, provided the subfloor is smooth and level.
Our own crew installs Sierra Work across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. Glue-down vinyl rewards a flat, dry subfloor, so prep is where we spend the time, then finish the trim and transitions. See our vinyl installation page.
It is worth seeing Sierra Work in person before deciding. Visit either showroom, contact us to confirm stock, and see more in the vinyl flooring range.
