In simple terms: Prism Pro is a wood-look vinyl plank that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.

Here is what matters on this one. This is a glue-down (dryback) vinyl, meaning each plank is adhered directly to the subfloor rather than floated. That makes it rock-solid underfoot with no movement or hollow sound, ideal for big open areas and commercial rooms, and a single plank can be replaced without disturbing the rest. A flat, dry subfloor is essential. The 20 mil wear layer puts it in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory, which is where vinyl earns its keep in a family home. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. Because it is 100% waterproof rather than just water-resistant, you can put it in the rooms that rule out wood and laminate, full baths, laundry rooms, kitchens, and basements. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. An embossed surface adds real texture underfoot rather than a flat printed face. It is backed by a lifetime residential and 10-year commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Aged Barrel, Iron Ore, and Thatch.
