Wall Panels & Siding in Mississauga, Toronto & Barrie
Wall surface products have expanded well beyond paint and drywall. Interior fluted acoustic panels add texture, warmth, and sound absorption to living rooms, home offices, and commercial spaces. WPC composite siding handles Ontario's freeze-thaw cycles without rotting, warping, or requiring seasonal maintenance. Screen and partition beam systems create privacy, define outdoor spaces, and add architectural structure to residential and commercial exteriors.
In simple terms: these are the products that finish and define walls the way flooring finishes a floor - and the right choice depends on whether you're working inside or outside, and what the surface needs to perform.
Our Mississauga showroom at 700 Dundas St E carries wall panel and siding products in stock about 20 minutes from downtown Toronto via the QEW. Our Barrie location at 112 Saunders Road serves contractors and homeowners across Simcoe County. Both locations carry samples you can see in person before ordering.
If you're also working on a flooring project, see our full flooring and tile range - wall panels and flooring are often specified together for a cohesive interior.

Interior Acoustic Wall Panels
Acoustic fluted wall panels have become one of the most popular interior design elements in Ontario renovations over the past several years, and for good reason. The vertical fluted profile adds depth and texture to a flat wall. The acoustic backing reduces sound reflection in hard-surface rooms. And the wood-look finish works with the wide-plank hardwood and LVP floors that dominate GTA interiors right now.
The most common applications we see are: living room feature walls behind televisions or sofas, home office back walls for video call presence, restaurant and hospitality feature walls, and commercial office acoustic treatment. In Toronto condos, the acoustic performance is a secondary benefit - the visual impact is usually what drives the decision.
Our acoustic fluted wall panels are available in brushed and natural finishes designed to coordinate with current hardwood and LVP floor tones. Come into either showroom and hold the panel next to your floor sample before you commit.
WPC Exterior Siding - Built for Ontario Conditions
WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) exterior siding is the right specification for Ontario homes and commercial buildings. Natural wood siding in Ontario's climate - with freeze-thaw cycles, humid summers, and salt from winter road treatment near urban properties - requires regular maintenance, periodic replacement, and careful installation to manage moisture. WPC composite eliminates those concerns. It doesn't rot, doesn't require painting or staining, doesn't swell in humidity, and doesn't crack in freeze-thaw conditions.
The visual quality has improved significantly in the past decade. Current WPC siding profiles have realistic wood grain texture, consistent colour through the profile (so cut ends don't expose a different core colour), and UV stabilizers that prevent fading over Ontario's sun exposure levels.
We carry multiple WPC siding profiles suited to different architectural styles:
Belgian profile - a refined horizontal profile for contemporary and transitional homes in Mississauga, Toronto, and Barrie.
Fluted profile - vertical fluting for modern facades and commercial exteriors. Particularly effective as an accent material on feature walls and entry surrounds.
Shiplap profile - the classic horizontal lap for traditional and farmhouse-influenced exteriors across Simcoe County and Barrie properties.
Shou Sugi Ban profile - a charred wood look in composite for exterior accent walls, entry features, and contemporary facades where the dramatic dark finish is the design intent.
Gap profile - open-joint vertical siding where the space between boards is part of the visual. Common in contemporary commercial and residential projects.
Norwegian profile - board and batten vertical siding with the proportions of traditional Scandinavian exterior cladding, suited to transitional and cottage-style properties in Barrie and Simcoe County.
Screen & Partition Beam Systems
Screen and partition beams are composite structural profiles used to build outdoor privacy screens, fence panels, pergola screens, balcony dividers, and architectural partition systems. They're the outdoor equivalent of an interior partition wall - they define space, create privacy, and add structure without requiring the framing and finishing of a permanent wall.
For Toronto and Mississauga condo terraces and rooftop spaces, screen systems provide privacy without requiring a permit-level permanent structure in most cases. For Barrie and Simcoe County properties, they work for backyard privacy screens, pool surrounds, and cottage dock privacy panels. For commercial applications - restaurant patios, hotel courtyards, office campus screening - they handle the scale and aesthetic requirements that residential fence products don't.
See our screen and partition beam range for available profiles and dimensions.
Living Green Walls
We also carry living green wall panels - artificial plant wall panels for interior feature walls, commercial reception areas, and retail environments where a maintenance-free green wall is the design intent.
Brands We Carry
NewTechWood - the primary brand in our wall panel and siding range. NewTechWood carries WPC siding profiles across Belgian, shiplap, Norwegian, gap, and fluted formats, as well as screen and partition beam systems. Products are UV stabilized, moisture resistant, and rated for Ontario exterior conditions. Available in brushed, natural, and specialty finishes.
1867 Flooring - interior wall concept panels in wood-look finishes for accent wall applications.
Interior vs. Exterior - Choosing the Right Product
The most common mistake is specifying an interior panel product for an exterior application. Interior acoustic panels are not weatherproof - they're designed for climate-controlled indoor environments. Using them outside will result in moisture damage, delamination, and colour failure within the first Ontario winter.
For exterior applications: WPC siding and NewTechWood screen profiles only. These products are rated for UV exposure, moisture, and freeze-thaw cycles.
For interior applications: acoustic fluted panels and interior wall panel products. These are not rated for outdoor exposure but perform exceptionally in climate-controlled environments.
Our showroom team will confirm the correct specification for your application before you order anything.
Common Questions About Wall Panels & Siding
Does WPC siding require painting or staining?
No. WPC composite siding is factory finished and does not require painting, staining, or sealing. The colour is UV stabilized and does not need periodic refreshing the way painted wood does. Cleaning with soap and water is all that's required for maintenance. This is one of the primary advantages of composite over natural wood siding in Ontario's climate.
Can acoustic wall panels be installed over drywall?
Yes. Interior acoustic fluted panels are designed to install directly over existing drywall using adhesive and concealed fasteners. No structural modification to the wall is required. They're a renovation-friendly product - one of the reasons they've become popular in Toronto and Mississauga condo feature wall applications.
Is WPC siding appropriate for Ontario winters?
Yes. WPC composite is rated for freeze-thaw cycles and does not absorb moisture the way natural wood does. The composite core expands and contracts minimally with temperature changes. Proper installation with appropriate gaps for thermal movement is required - our team will advise on installation requirements for your specific product and climate zone.
What is the difference between fluted and shiplap siding profiles?
Fluted siding has a vertical profile with rounded channels running lengthwise - it's installed vertically and creates a strong directional line on the facade. Shiplap is a horizontal lap profile with boards overlapping each other - it's installed horizontally and creates the classic clapboard look associated with traditional and farmhouse architecture. Both are available in WPC composite. The right choice depends entirely on the architectural style of the building.
