Inhaus Flooring Lamdura Inspirations Water-Resistant Laminate
Most laminate fails at the joints, not the surface, and it fails first in the rooms that see water.
In simple terms: Inhaus Flooring Lamdura Inspirations is an 8mm AC4 rated water-resistant laminate, a floor built to take water in the rooms where that matters. Squarefoot Flooring carries it, and our own crew installs it.
Lamdura Inspirations runs an 8mm board, the standard residential thickness, stable underfoot and compatible with most existing subfloors. It carries an AC4 wear rating, a step above standard that holds up to busy family households, hallways, and main floors. The surface is finished with a natural wood-look texture. It installs with a click-lock system, a glue-free floating install that keeps labour costs down and lets the floor be lifted and reused later. It is rated for 72 hours of surface water protection, which in practice means a spill, a melting ice cube, or a wet boot will not swell the seams as long as it is wiped up in good time. It also carries an IIC sound rating of 73.0. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 7-year Light commercial warranty.
Because of that core, Lamdura Inspirations holds up in the rooms that sink a standard laminate: kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries. The range includes tones such as Oak Light Grey, Selkirk, Sedgwick, Woodside, and Edgewood.
Decision line: choose Lamdura Inspirations for any room that meets water, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and entries; for dry bedrooms and living rooms, a standard laminate will also do the job for less.
Installation is in-house across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, with no subcontractors. A floating floor needs a flat, dry base, so subfloor prep and underlayment are where we spend the time. See the laminate installation page.
Worth seeing in person, since grain and sheen read differently across a floor. Lamdura Inspirations is at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms; contact us to check stock, or compare on the vinyl vs laminate guide.
